If you provide one of our special pot belly pigs below with $15 [or more] a month, we will send you a picture { maybe with a hoof print ! } , your choice of a pig charm or noah's ark charm, updates about your pig and information about the ongoing changes and many efforts of the sanctuary.

Your much needed donation for your chosen pig will be slated for HIS/HER monthly food care and HIS/HER medical care as they age.

Just like us, as they age, they develop problems with their joints and muscles....there is a medication for it and it is quite costly, even with our discount. This medication can mean whether a pig will be able to walk or not and have the quality of life that we want for them with all our heart.

The pigs survive from donations....and we want to provide the very best for our pigs as we can...

Thor is a 14 yr.old neutered male. Thor came to me years ago after showing up at a horse farm nearby. The people were not happy about him showing up there and told me if I did not catch him, they would shoot him. Well, it took 3 days to catch him but I did and he had a vet appointment right away to get neutered. Thor was very flighty and it took a long time to gain any confidence with him. Charlie was born here on the 11th of March 2001. His mom became very sick after the litter was born and she had already lost 7 of her babies. Charlie and his two brothers had to be hand raised. Charlie's mom finally got better . Charlie is a beautiful sweet neutered male.

Anton is my little gremlin. He and his sister were very small when they came here . The were suppose to be a Wedding bar b que. Someone intervened for them and they got to come here. Lydia got adopted but no one has ever looked at Anton. Of course we think he is very cute. He is a black neutered male and is 8 years old.

Courtney came to me after a divorce . Courtney had been attacked by dogs in their yard and she only has one ear. Courtney also has to have medication everyday or she vomits her food. Courtney also has to have special cooked food. She is a beautiful silver spayed female. Courtney is 8 years old.

Whiskey was an owner relinquish along with his older pig of 15 years, Socks. Socks passed away earlier this year and Whiskey did not know what to do with himself but he has made another friend named Amy. Whiskey is a 2 year old neutered male and has become very friendly now. He was quite obese and still is a big boy but has lost allot of weight.

Beethoven was found wandering the streets and picked up by animal control.. We got a call and went and picked him up. He was a very terrified pig. I don't think he had been handled very much. He went to the vet to be neutered and now he lives the good life. Beethoven is 8 years old.

Joshua came to me as only a one year old so obese he could not move. One day he screamed in pain and he could not walk I took him for x-rays and his spine was damaged . Allot of the injury came from his being so obese and trying to walk with all that weight. Also he had been transported to me in a wire carrier that had fallen through due to his weight. Another source for his injury. Joshua when he really thinks about what he is doing can walk . If he gets real excited he collapses .He is a silver neutered male who is 8 years old. Joshua is a very happy pig.

Eddie and Annie were bought from a pet store when they were only 8 days old. They were being sold with baby bottles. They should have been with their mother for at least 8 weeks. This to us was a crime and we got the pet store to stop selling them. Eddie and Annie are spayed and neutered and are 2 years old now.

Eddie and Annie are being sponsored now. A lady came out the other day and is sponsoring them for her granddaughter who has congenital heart problems. The granddaughter loves pigs. She picked out Eddie and Annie herself and her grandmother wrote me out a check for the whole year.

This is Clyde. He is an 11 year old neutered male who came to me many years ago when he was about three years old. He had a mate, Bonnie who has since died. Clyde missed her very much but has a new friend, Noel. Clyde really loves people and would love to have a sponsor because his friend Noel has one.

This is Zoe. Zoe and her brother were hit by a car. Her brother died and Zoe was left for dead also. Zoe showed up at her owners five days later, paralyzed and dragging her hind end. Zoe was brought to me for evaluation and rehabilitation. She was relinquished by her owner because she could not afford any medical and this pig needed allot of medical. Her vet bills for x-rays alone were allot of money. Zoe can now walk and run but is incontinent. She may never outgrow it and her bed has to be washed daily. Zoe will turn 3 years old this coming Aug. 1st. She is spayed and a really sweet little girl who probably weighs about 65 #.
