Noah's Ark Potbellied Pig Sanctuary |
LEILA A lady called me who knows my daughter and told me about a pig who has been wandering the neighborhood. The lady knows where the pig belongs and she has taken her back down to the home. The pig kept getting out and wandering again. Finally the people who own her told the lady who was trying to help her to just shoot her and eat her.......they did not care and did not want her. She was torn up pretty good by what looks like puncture wounds from a dog or dogs.
One hole in her neck was the size of a quarter and my whole finger went down that deep. I pulled a baby food jar amount of pus out of the hole. I pulled pus mixed with blood out of both ears.
She has allot of scar tissue where it seems she has been attacked more than once. Many other numerous wounds, around her neck, ears, eyes, and on top of her head. She is a very sweet pig despite all that has happened to her and what she has gone through with all the injections she has received for antibiotics, vaccines, and de wormer.
Every day she has had to have antibiotics ( injectables ) because she was not eating good enough to put anything in her food. She will be on her way to recovery in the next couple of weeks. Then we need to see about getting her spayed. We are very low on funds for spays right now and anything anyone can do to help would be greatly appreciated. We Desperately need funds to pay off our vet bills Many of our pigs are elders and have received expensive surgery Please HELP us meet our goal by Donating Donate $5 or more and receive one of these charms Click on the charm you want when donating
Charms are approximately ¾" X ½" Made of pewter
