The services offered are from reputable companies that have a good standing in the on-line community. These companies are ones that we would and do use ourselves. Pleas help us by checking them out.

04/25/04  CAT RESCUE........CATS FOR ADOPTION
Early this year a man who had rented my trailer for several year suddenly died. It was a shock to all of us........but what was more of a shock was when I went to trap the cats he had.........I could not believe there were so many........thinking he had only about a dozen, it wound up he had 26 cats.
Not knowing where to begin I got traps from animal control. They would not help beyond that. They wanted me to bring all the cats out there for euthanization. The family wanted to just shoot them all.
I knew there had to be a better solution. but what was it going to be ? I could not get anyone to help and I knew I needed to test all these cats and spay and neuter right away.
Finally getting the aid from the Humane Society from North Pinellas we began by testing.......four cats out of the 26 tested positive and had to be euthanized.
Then I found a person who has been a Godsend to me by helping me with the cats. She has a lot of cats of her own and has helped me so much. A big " thank you " to Julie Osteen and the Humane Society........at least we are rolling along right now.....
Now, we really still could use donations of feed and litter to continue........also, we have spays and neuters left.........if you could be of some help please send any donations for spay and neuter to.....
